  We moved to our house in Guildford Surrey in 2012 and inherited a WOT security system. In all our other houses we had used ADT who in general we found to be very good. However given that a WOT system was already in place we decided to stick with this security alarm provider. That was a huge mistake. We paid an annual premium which included an annual maintenance/inspection. Approximately 20 months into the contract we realised that we hadnt been contacted by the company to undertake the inspection. We called the company to complain. It was impossible to get hold of a senior manager. We left countless messages and nobody returned our calls. Eventually a more junior chap sorted out the issue and we eventually managed to get a partial refund. We are moving abroad and I wanted to make sure we had a good system. WOT did not fill me with confidence so we decided to get an ADT system installed. On the day the ADT engineer arrived, he removed the existing WOT security system. Amazingly nobody from WOT monitoring services called to alert us that the WOT system was being tampered with in the house. Incredible. I mentioned this to WOT and that our experience should be a concern. They didnt seem at all bothered.
